I’m interested in organizations that are geared to the customer, facing fierce competition, with a need to transform and that want to change the status quo through innovation and meticulous customer management.
In the different professional activities I’ve undertaken over the years, what really motivates me to work, my purpose and what I enjoy most is helping professionals I interact with to think, trying to break preconceived ideas with rigor, based on data and research. It motivates to me to identify problems that everyone sees, but looking for solutions that no one else has thought of before.
To do this, I leverage a unique professional profile that pivots on three different professional phases, each enhancing the others:
- Top management experience in multinationals
- Professor (faculty member) in business schools with global reach and
- Board member of several organizations in the last years.
Why does my opinion matter in the business world? In general, I’m told it’s because I apply good common sense to the business situations and daily problems of the companies I collaborate with, based as much on real-world experience – translated into practical and actionable ideas explained in plain language –, as on my work as researcher.
Companies also value my knowledge of general management, strategy, commercial and digital transformation, combined with strong managerial experience and a solid academic background: PhD and MBA from IESE/University of Navarra, and a law degree, as well as a Harvard Business School diploma.
